Is it Permissible to take the Mushaf (Quran) into the Toilet - Shaykh 'Ubayd al-Jaabiree

The following question was asked to Shaykh 'Ubayd al-Jaabiree (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) in the lecture that was titled: Explanation of the Hadeeth - I have Left You Upon Clear Proof which has since been removed from the SalafiSounds website.  

A summary of the question is as follows:

"Is it permissible to enter the toilet area with a small Mushaf (Qur'an) in my pocket if I fear that I may forget it?"

The question and answer  aretranslated by Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala):

Here is something that many people face maybe on a daily basis or may have faced in their lives, in one way or another. Often due to a matter of dunya. So they don't talk to each other.  Now, what happens to their, nephews & nieces?  Often the case is that they get dragged into the whole situation & are expected to start boycotting their, uncles, aunties & cousins.

How do we deal with such situations?
