How Will You be When Death Comes to You! - Hamzah Abdur-Razzaq

The is the khutbah that was delivered by Hamzah Abdur-Razzaq (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at Masjid Ibn Baaz, South Philadelphia on the 8th of January 2022 and posted on their official Spreaker account.

The title is mine!

It is a lecture that calls us to reflect on the reality that we will all have to face very soon (death) and our preparation for it.

The reality is when you die your day of resurrection has begun, as Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) said.

The angels will come to question you.  You will be in a state of terror when you realise that it is no longer a joking matter, no longer a khutbah, no longer mere classes but it has become a reality, what will your state be!

Listen to this detailed reminder about the inevitable journey we will all have to undertake very soon.

May Allah save us all from the torment of that time, Aameen!
Reminder after the Khutbah:

If She is Divorced in a Non-Islamic Court, it is Valid! - Abdulilah Lahmami

The following benefit was extracted from the series titled: Biography of Prophet Muhammad recorded by Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at Markaz Muadh ibn Jabal in Slough.

How many times have we heard that a brother has divorced his first wife in a non-Muslim courtroom so that he can marry above sister from outside the country & bring her in?  All this takes place whilst still continuing to live with her in the (ex) marital home.

How many times have we heard that in his efforts to take her back he has convinced her into believing that the divorce he gave her in a civil courtroom was never valid?  Then continues living with her as if they never got divorced at all in the first place.

Listen to this clip, may Allah enable us to benefit from that which we hear, Aameen.
Further Clarification:

Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) sent me an audio on the 29th of April 2023, requesting that it be added as a further clarification.

My Coming to Islam - Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis

I was listening to a lecture by Abu Khadeejah 'Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) n which he was delivering to a non-Muslims audience titled:  What is Islam?

At the end of the lecture someone asked about how (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) he came to Islam.  He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) believed that this question was actually for Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), who had presented the lecture that had preceded.

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) mentioned that Abu Hakeem (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) had previously given the answer to this question at the beginning of a lecture that he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) had delivered on a previous occasion titled: Islam's Reply to Extremism at Stoke in a 15-minute piece of audio.   Here is that particular piece of audio, walhamdulillah.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Paying Towards Petrol Costs, in the Masjid - Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis

During the above mentioned Dawrah Ilmiyyah there took place 2 Q&A sessions with Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) that I have broken down and titled: Q&A’s: The Greatness of Allaah Necessitates We Worship Him Alone Dawrah ilmiyyah

Here is a summary of one of those questions:

When travelling we appointed our driver as the Amir and agreed to pay £5 each. We didn't pay him on the journey but paid him upon arrival, in the Masjid. Is that considered business that is not allowed to take place in the Masjid?

Our Ustadh (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) responded with the following:
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

During a YouTube Podcast recently titled: Whoever Allah Loves He Gives Him Understanding In The Religion, delivered for Muwahhideen Publications by Mustafa George (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) there were some amazing benefits.  Click on the link above to watch the complete lecture.
