Who is the True Provider & Sustainer? - Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah

I find many lectures on YouTube that are not the best quality, yet may be extremely beneficial in their content.  Some of them, like this one, were posted at time when you could only upload 10 minute audios at a time.  So, what is required is to join up the various parts to make the complete audio before I am able to edit them.

This is one of those audios by Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah as-Sindee (rahimahullah Ta'ala), that has been remastered, walhamdulillah.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Here is the answer to a question that was asked to Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) during the lecture titled: Islām is the Sunnah & The Sunnah is Islām, that was delivered during the Manchester Mini Conference that took place on the 30th July 2024.

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following, very concise answer:

Some Rules for Choosing Names in Islam - Abu Muadh Taqweem Aslam

This is a very important subject that requires we give some Islamic consideration into account with regard to this affair.

One of the things that we can do is to ask learned people for advice with regards to the names that we should use.  The sahabah (may Allah be pleased with all of them, Aameen).  Would ask the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) about what they should name their children, so it is a good thing to do as the sahabah did, you don't have to accept their recommendation.

When are you supposed to name the newborn?  There is an opinion that it should be done on the day of birth, or the third day or the seventh day.

Who has the right to name the child?  The advice of the people of knowledge is that it should be a discussion process, between the husband & wife. If push comes to shove, then the ultimate decision comes down to the father.

There are some extremely beneficial principles that we should be aware of as Abu Muadh Taqweem Aslam (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) mentions in this extremely beneficial audio that has been extracted from a lecture that was delivered at the Salafi Publications - Winter Conference 2019.

Why are we Choosing to Sin! - Hamza Abdur-Razzaq

Here is a benefit that was posted on the Manhaj-ul-Haqq YouTube channel from where the idea was taken for this post.  The benefit was extracted from a khutbah delivered at Germantown Masjid titled: Allāh Gave Us Everything We Need to Achieve True Happiness by Hamzah Abdur-Razzaq (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

The benefit is an excellent reminder for us all about being patient with the decree of Allah when we are tested and not making excuses for our sins due to our eemaan being in a state of weakness.

Which Statement is More Bitter to You? - Rasheed Barbee

During the Germantown Summer Conference 2024 one of the lectures delivered by Rasheed Barbee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) was titled: Advice to the WD Community. A truly enlightening lecture.

One of the points he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) mentions is that some people were offended by him (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) calling Elijah Muhammad a Kafir (disbeliever).

Here is his (hafidhahullah Ta'ala's) short thought-provoking response to that.
Note: The book can be purchased from Authentic Statements in the US.

Praying in a Masjid Built on some Impure Wealth - Shaykh Saalih al-Luhaydaan

I have recently undertaken a project to release as many translated questions asked of Shaykh Saalih al-Luhaydaan (rahimahullah Ta'ala) as possible.

Starting on this journey I have taken about a dozen lessons from the Explanation of Kitab at-Tawheed that he delivered to the westerns in Riyadh and begun extracting individual questions for release.

From the very first audio that I have edited, I have managed to extract and edit 12 questions that were translated by Ustadh Mustafa George (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) during the lesson.

Here is the first of those questions::

The individual is asking about a masjid which is in Morocco and individuals who are practising in Morrocco, they claim that this masjid in Morroco, it is not permissible to pray (in it) because the wealth is not pure.  It has some wealth which is forbidden. What is the ruling on prayer in this masjid?

Shaykh Saalih al-Luhaydaan (rahimahullah Ta'ala) responded with the following answer:
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Is having an Iqama (Residence Permit) Considered Hijrah? - Shaykh Saleh al-Luhaydaan

At the end of class 14 of Aqeedatul Waasitiyyah
taught in Riyadh by Shaykh Saleh al-Luhaydaan im (rahimullah Ta'ala) to the westerners, one of the questions he was asked was the following:

"If someone left the land of disbelief and they migrated to Saudi Arabia and they got a residency permit (Iqama). Are they considered someone who has migrated?"

He (rahimullah Ta'ala) responded with the following which was translated by Abu Isma'eel Mustafa George (hafidhullah Ta'ala):
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
