Here is a summarised biography of Shaykh-ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahulllah Ta'ala) from the introductory lessons of the explanation of al-Aqeedah al-Wasitiyyah delivered by Abu Idrees Muhammad (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) with the explanation of Shaykh Ahmad an-Najmee (rahimahulllah Ta'ala) at the Salafi Masjid in Birmingham.

It was delivered over 110 lessons. It started at the end of October 2016 and finished at the beginning of April 2022.

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) discusses the confusing methodology of the blind-following of the Madhabs, in opposition to the way of the Salaf.

Here is a question that was asked to Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at the end of a lecture delivered at alBaseerah, Bradford, titled: The Sunnah is like the Ark of Noah on the 28th of June 2025.

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) responded with the following answer:

A few months ago Masjid ash-Shura, from Norfolk, Virginia came as an umrah group.  

By the grace of Allah and the permission of its organisers, such as our brother Raha Batts (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) who translated this lecture, a few of the brothers living in and around Makkah were allowed to attend the two lectures that were being delivered on Jumu'ah the 1st of Rajab 1440, for the umrah group.

Here I present to you that recording I made that evening with the consent of our brother and was later posted on their SoundCloud account.  

Of the two lectures being delivered that evening (the second being by our Shaykh Mustafa Mubram (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), I sought permission from our brother Raha to be allowed to post some of extracted fawa'id from the first lecture that was delivered by Shaykh Ahmad az-Zahrani (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), on my website.   The Shaykh has been highly praised by our Shaykh, the Allaamah Rabee' ibn Haadee 'Umayr al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

As you will notice that I have left the title as I had labelled it after the kalimah was delivered.

In it, the Shaykh (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) brings 6 key principles, as you will see, that are timely reminders in the religion of al-Islam for how we should behave during times of fitan (pl. of `fitnah (trials, tests & tribulations)) such as the time we (Ahlus-Sunnah) are going through right now.
