The Importance of Sticking to the Ulema (Scholars) - Abu Uwais Abdullah Ali

Here is a beautiful lecture delivered many, many years ago by Abu Uwais Abdullah Ali (rahimahullah Ta’ala). In the introduction, he (rahimahullah Ta’ala) says the following:

“The matter that I want to speak about is a very important issue especially in times of fitnah, in times of confusion, in times of darkness, in times of storms where people are being thrown left and right and confusion has taken place and that is the importance of Irtibaat or sticking to the Ulema.  The importance of sticking to the scholars and there is no doubt that this is the way of those upon the Dawatus-Salafeeyah and there is no doubt that this is the minhaj as-Salafus-Saleh and there is no doubt that one cannot stay upon this minhaj and be well-grounded in this minhaj unless one does, in fact, know who the scholars are and have a connection to the scholars.  So, in this way, if we are looking for sa’adah or happiness in Salafeeyah.  We must first preserve our Salafeeyah and maintain our Salafeeyah and that we’re upon our Salafeeyah.  This is done by sticking closely, sticking closely to the scholars!  And if this is done and this is understood then, of course, the need to stick to the scholars in times of ease is one thing and the need to stick to them in times of hardship is even, more and more and more important…”

Without any further ado, let us listen to this timeless reminder.

Erroneous Explanations of Allah’s Ascending of His Throne - Abdulilah Lahmami

The understanding of the Salaf with regards the ascension of Allah, is that He ascended His Throne in a manner befitting His Majesty.  The people of Innovation on the other hand, try to explain this away in order to deny this understanding of our Salaf.

In this benefit extracted from the lecture by Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), titled: Is Allah Everywhere? He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) brings some of those explanations from the followers of these misguided groups and sects.
