A while back a conference took place at Markaz us-Sunnah, Alperton.  The guest speaker was Shaykh Dr. Abdul-Khaliq Madi (hafidhahullah Ta'ala). 

Over 3 days the Shaykh (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) taught:  The Beneficial Means to a Happy Life by Shaykh Abdur-Rahman al-Sa'di.  Also, during this conference there was an almost 3 hours long.

All of the classes were translated by Abu Ukkashah Abdul-Hakeem (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

The question below has been slightly paraphrased for ease of understanding:

Question 7: The question comes in two parts. The first part is, what is the ruling for a husband that struggles a lot to pray Fajr in Jama’ah and his wife has tried a lot, almost everything to wake him up for Salah, but he doesn't! Very rarely does he go to Jama’ah, and his excuse is that he's always tired and he's stressed, and he has lots of debt problems and his family on the south of and all of this doesn't help him.  I’ve tried giving him naseehah, cold water, threatening with asking for divorce, but it's not working, and he says that he's tried but doesn't really know why he’s struggled so much with Fajr and why he doesn't pray. As his wife I feel I hate staying with him.

He mentions the sin of listening to anasheeds is greater than listening to music.

• Transliteration: Bārakallāhu laka, wa bāraka ʿalayka, wa jamaʿa baynakumā fī khayr.

• Translation: "May Allah bless you, and shower His blessings upon you, and join you together in goodness".

Here is a benefit from a lecture delivered by Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) titled: Beware the Perils of the Internet.

In it, he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) brings a story narrated by the former Mufti, of Saudi Arabia, Shaykh Abdul-Aziz Alaa Ash-Shaykh (rahimahullah Ta'ala), regarding a woman that fell in to a fitnah due to her use of the internet.

Here is a benefit that has been extracted from a recent lecture that I posted, titled: Dangers of the Internet by Rasheed Barbee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

In this benefit he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) brought some benefits from Shaykh Abdullah al-Bukhari (hafidhahulllah Ta'ala) about how a salafi should use social media.

Here is a lecture delivered by Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala). That contains a discussion of some of the harms of internet technologies, specifically social media in its various forms. The misuse of these technologies for evil is commonplace today.

In this benefit Abu Uwais Abdullah Ali (rahimahullah Ta'ala) relates from the son of Shaykh Rabee' ibn Haadee 'Umayr al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) regarding the use of the term "Ahlus Sunnah wal-Jama'ah" versus calling oneself Salafi.

On Thursday, 28th of Shawwal 1447 AH (16th of April 2027) a lecture was delivered by Shaykh Badr ibn Muhammad ibn Badr al-Anzi (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) delivered a lecture at the Masjid of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saaleh al-Luhaydaan (rahimahullah Ta'ala) that was broadcasted live on the Masjid's official YouTube channel.

On Friday the 24th of May 2024, Shaykh Badr ibn Muhammad ibn Badr al-Anazi (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) delivered an explanation of treatise by al-Hafidh ibn Hajar  (rahimahullah Ta'ala), titled: Nukhbat al-Fikr at Masjid al-Hamoudi in Hayy al-Fayhah, in Jeddah.  The class started after Salatul-Asr and was concluded by Salatul-Maghrib, walhamdulillah.

Here is my recording of that class.  May Allah bless immensely, our Shaykh's efforts and those of the organisers and administration of the masjid, Aameen.
