Here is a really beautiful lecture by Shaykh 'Ubayd al-Jaabiree (rahimahullah Ta'ala),translated by Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) that I found posted on the YouTube channel of Umm Uthmaan al-Majariyyah (may Allah have mercy upon her).

A very important lesson about a fundamental of the religion of al-Islam, that we all need to listen to and take benefit from, barak Allahu feekum!

Here is a short benefit that has been extracted from a lecture delivered recently at the Islamic Dawah NYC seminar titled: The Levels of Striving Against the Soul on the 18th of August 2025 by Abul-Hasan Malik (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

A reminder that seeking and understanding Islamic knowledge is something that doesn't happen in a minute but takes time to achieve.

Here is an example of the sometimes humorous nature of our brother Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) as he answers this question, whilst trying to keep a straight face.

This question was extracted from the 1st Q&A session of the  Dawrah ilmiyyah - The Greatness of Allaah Necessitates we Worship Him Alone.  Which I believe took place at Markaz Muaadh bin Jabal in 1435 H. Which was based around the beliefs of Ahlus-Sunnah in regards to the beautiful names & lofty attributes of Allah.

I was listening to a lecture by Abu Khadeejah 'Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) n which he was delivering to a non-Muslims audience titled:  What is Islam? 

At the end of the lecture someone asked about how (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) he came to Islam.  He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) believed that this question was actually for Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), who had presented the lecture that had preceded.

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) mentioned that Abu Hakeem (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) had previously given the answer to this question at the beginning of a lecture that he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) had delivered on a previous occasion titled: Islam's Reply to Extremism at Stoke in a 15-minute piece of audio.   Here is that particular piece of audio, walhamdulillah.

Here is an edited benefit from that lecture delivered by Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at Masjid Salafi, Birmingham on the 27th of January 2012, titled: Birthday of the Prophet.

One of the most amazing lectures I have listened to in all of my life.  Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) arrived at the conference and it came to his attention that audio lectures were being distributed and sold in cassette form with the photographs of those people who had delivered the lecture.
