We will not Punish Anyone Until We have Sent them a Messenger - Shaykh 'Ubayd al-Jaabiree

At the end of a lecture titled: Gathering between Fear & Hope with Shaykh 'Ubayd al-Jaabiree (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) during the Birmingham Winter Conference 2008 the following question was asked:

How do we gather between the statement of Allah (Azza wa Jaal) that Indeed we are not going to punish anyone until we have sent to them a messenger and the statement of the Messenger (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) concerning his own father when he responded to the man, that indeed my father and your father are both in the hellfire?

Both the question & answer were translated by Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhahullah Ta'ala):

Advice on what Books a Beginner Student of Knowledge should Study - Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid

Here is a recording of a question that was asked to our brother and Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

It was recorded at the Winter Conference in Birmingham after Jumu'ah. I believe, on a mobile phone.

The original recording has done the rounds around social media platforms.

What I have done is, taken that original audio and edited it in an effort to clean out as much as I can of the background noise, thus improving the overall sound quality.

After doing this I then presented it to him (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) and requested permission to post the edited file on my website.  He has given his permission, so I present it here for the people to benefit from.

May Allah bless him (hafidhahullah Ta’ala) for all his noble efforts throughout the last quarter of a century.

May Allah enable us to benefit fully from what we hear, Aameen.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim

He’s Not Referring to ME! - Mustafa George

Here are some words for thought from a soon to be released lecture by Mustafa George (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) titled: Characteristics of a Righteous Woman.

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) talks about the importance of bringing ourselves to account.  Are we implementing that which we have learnt?

When he scholar advises with something, are we from amongst those that contemplate over whether or not that advice applies to me, or do we just think that it applies to so-and-so!

Remember Allah, He Will Reward You!- Abu Adam Jameel Finch

Sometimes, when searching for a recent lecture that was delivered on a SoundCloud, Spreaker or Mixlr account, you find that it has been removed by the organiser of it, possibly for the purpose of editing it before it is released.

Many organisations, leave their lectures on these accounts, unedited over many years.

When searching for one such lecture I came across this one by Abu Adam Jameel Finch (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) on the Mixlr account of Masjid al-Uthaymeen, Trenton, dated the 24th of July 2023.

If you click on the above Mixlr link, you will be able to listen to the original recording as it was delivered.

Not to to bore the readers. Sound consists of frequencies.  By removing certain frequencies, it is possible to remove some excessive background noise.  The problem is, voices also contain some of those same frequencies.  So, it is a case of balancing these issues to edit a reasonable quality audio that can then be released.

This is one of those audios that has been edited, given a title based upon the speakers introduction and is being released, walhamdulilah.
