Praying Taraweeh as well as Tahajjud in the Nights of Ramadan - Shaykh Zayd ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee - Abdulilah Lahmami

Here is another benefit that I found this morning on a hard drive that has been sitting around for a considerable amount of time.  

As the title states, it is a question that was asked to Shaykh Zayd ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee (rahimahullah Ta'ala).  Both the question and the answer were translated by Abu Yusuf Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) and has been taken from a YouTube posting by the Salafi Centre.

I do not have an actual reference for it, but I believe it is a question that was ask to our Shaykh by miraath.net in there translated questions and answer sessions.

Diligence in the Religion Seminar - Masjid Rahmah

This is the Diligence in the Religion conference that took place at Masjid Rahmah, Newark, NJ.

1 - Abul-Hasan Malik (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) reminds us of the necessity of choosing the hereafter over the worldly life and the meaning of earnestly striving for it.
2 - Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gives an explanation of the advice of the Messenger (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) to strive for what is beneficial for you, seek the aid of Allah and not be lazy.
3 - Ahmad Fathi Koura (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) discusses the means that enable an individual to stay firm upon the religion in times of trials and tribulations.
4 - Abu Adam Jameel Finch (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) shares a hadeeth of the Messenger (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) with the explanation of Shaykh 'Abdul Muhsin al `Abbaad (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) on the importance of giving precedence to the obligatory matters of the religion and the benefits of supplementing the obligatory acts with voluntary ones.
