Here is a benefit from an excellent lecture by Mustafa George (hafidhahulllah Ta'ala) that is concise in its word, yet carries a vast meaning.

The lecture was delivered at Masjid Rahmah during a seminar titled: The Meaning of True Unity  The title of the lecture is: Refraining from Causes of Disunity. 

It really is a must-listen lecture for us all.  For now, here is that very brief benefit that really needs to be reflected over, barak Allahu feekum!

Here is a lecture that truly is a timely reminder for us all about the importance of refraining from causes of disunity by Mustafa George (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).  Delivered during a seminar titled: The Meaning of True Unity that took place at Masjid Rahmah, Newark, NJ in 2023.

During an ongoing series of lectures Selected Chapters from Sharh Riyadh As-Saliheen taught at alBaseerah, Bradford.  Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafiq (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) took the following question at the end of Lesson 6.

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:

This is a  benefit that has been extracted from a lecture delivered  by Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) that was posted on the YouTube account of DUS Dawah.

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) said: The brother said that, I’m going to summarize it right, if I summarize it correctly, if not correct it. Basically, when people start to practice upon the sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ) upon the way of the Salafiyyah, sometimes a person may be a bit harsh when dealing with their loved ones, their parents, their relatives, or their siblings. What is some advice with regards to people in that situation?

In it, he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) mentions the evils of listening to music.

This is a khutbah delivered on the 31st of May 2024 at Germantown Masjid by Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

It is obligatory for us to know and understand what is the correct Aqeedah (belief) of the Muslims that will eventually enable us to enter Paradise, ultimately saving us from damnation in the Hellfire.

Do we know about the mistakes that people make and whether or not I have fallen into any of those mistakes that may ultimately result in our destruction?  The next question is that if Allah gives us the ability to realise that we have made one of these mistakes, how do we correct it so that we return to Allah being pleased with us?
