This is a breakdown of a recent khutbah delivered by Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at Germantown Masjid and posted upon their official SoundCloud account.  It was officially released on the 15th of May, 2025.  As such, I am assuming it was delivered the previous Jumu'ah, 9th of May, 2025.

8 - Do Not Make This World Our Greatest Goal…
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Let There Rise From Amongst You a Group... - Abdulilah Lahmami

During a sitting with some brothers in Makkah, Abu Ishaaq Nadeem Ahsan-Shah & Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhumullah Ta'ala) both gave a short kalimah each to some brothers who had come for 'Umrah.

The original post was titled: Busying the Tongue with Tawheed & Dhikr.

This is the part that Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) delivered.  It contains a detailed explanation of an ayah that is very much misquoted by the likes of Jamat-ut-Tablighوَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ - Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful. [Surah Aali-Imran (4): 103].
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Q&A - Indeed this Knowledge is Religion... - Abdulilah Lahmami

On the 27th of December 2024 a lecture was delivered by Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) titled: Indeed this Knowledge is Religion at Masjid Ibn Seereen, Bristol.

At the end of the lecture some questions were asked.  The following is a breakdown of those questions, barak Allahu feekum.

Question 1: What will happen if friendships are not built and established for the sake of Allaah? What will the consequence be on the Day of Judgement?
Question 2: In the book of Ibnul-Qayyim, it speaks of the causes of sin, one of it is hirs (حرص). Can this be translated as “greed" or"desire"?
Question 3: Here in the West, when we have an individual who claims to be Salafi, who should we test him with, especially those who are hiding tamyi'?
Question 4: What are some of the books to study and learn about the Salafi Manhaj?
Question 5: How should we treat the ones who dilute the Salafi Manhaj like the Mumayyi'ah?
Question 6: How should you advise the one who stays by himself, and he doesn't mix with the people of his Salafi brothers? Even if he is in a gathering, he always stays alone.
Question 7: Question about Uthmaan Khamees.
Question 8: There are people from the followers of Hajooree who are telling brother that we invite to the conference and duroos of Ahlus Sunnah "Who is coming from the Ulamaa?" and to go to Green Lane Masjid instead who have scholars visiting their conferences. What do you advise with?
Question 9: What do you say to the one who says that the Salafis are too harsh and that they are not balanced when they are warning about an innovator or those who spread it?
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Busying the Tongue with Tawheed & Dhikr - Abu Ishaaq Nadeem & Abdulilah Lahmami

Last night (Sunday, 8th of December 2024) while accompanying Abu Ishaaq Nadeem Ahsan-Shah (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) we met Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) and some of the group that accompanied him for 'Umrah.  During this sitting both of our teachers gave some short and concise pieces of advice to those present.

They were both combined in one recording and as such, I decided to leave them as one recording.

It lovely to meet the brothers, some of whom we had previously spoken to from as far away as Australia.  A lovely gather of the people of Sunnah, walhamdulillah.

The Educated Women of the Salaf - Abul-Hasan Malik

A very insightful lecture by our Abul-Hasan Malik (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) on showing that the women of the salaf were educated in the affairs of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) and not only were they educated but they also were involved in disseminating this knowledge to the women.

May Allah make our women from amongst those that learn, understanding, implement and teach that which is pleasing to Allah (subhanahu wa Ta'ala), Aameen.

The Reality of Death & Preparing For It - Abu Hafsah Kashiff Khan

This is a lecture by Abu Hafsah Kashiff Khan (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) which was delivered on the 20th of December 2014 and was posted on the Learn About Islam SoundCloud account. At that time no editing was done to the audio file and it was released as it was recorded.   This time around it has been through the cleanup process and the overall recording level has been increased.

This is one of those lectures that is considered a real eye-opener.  It helps to put things into their real perspective.

Listen, reflect and rectify your affairs, you may have very little time remaining to do so.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
